Loft Quarter is located in the Skolkovo Innovation Centre and is integrated into the general master plan of the territory. The inspiration for the project is the idea of an old European city with narrow streets, public squares, and buildings with sloping roofs. This image defined the structure of the quarter.

From the outside of the area, the quarter is a rigid monolithic volume corresponding to the surrounding context; from the inside, it is an ensemble of various buildings and open spaces. All area units are multifunctional: first floors are given to retail functions; offices are placed in loft spaces; under-roofing floors are reserved for apartments. Utility and service rooms together with parking lots are put on the basement levels.
