The Lumin building is located in the historical centre of Moscow, and is surrounded by a densely built environment. The concept of the project was to fill the apartments with the maximum amount of natural light while creating in the very centre of the city a setting providing privacy.
The stepped structure of the façade with its lightbox panels increases the total surface area capable of letting light through. Transparent and frosted glass are the key materials. Blocks of frosted glass form the walls, and transparent panes are used for panoramic windows.
Сontemporary interiors are сomplemented by bright accents: the minimalism of snow-white walls combined with oak or light-colored self-levelling flooring serves as the background for unusual furniture and art objects.
