The complex consists of a former tenement house built by architect Adolf Erichson in 1903 and two new mansions placed behind the historic building.

The tenement house was carefully restored. Its facade, which is executed in modern aesthetics, is decorated with the masks of Egyptian pharaohs and bas-reliefs depicting ancient tombs. The six-story building consists of spacious apartments with high ceilings and public spaces on the ground floor.

The two mansions — “Light” and “Rock” — are new constructions. The “Light” facade has a finishing of white architectural concrete, and the “Rock” one is dark, designed with granite and quartzite. Apartments windows look onto the ‘vertical forest’, an opposite wall covered with plants.

Interior space is divided into four courtyards. The “Rock” courtyard imitates the layers of soil with gold ore veins. The space of “Light” is framed by classical facades. The other two courtyards — ”mirrored” and ”historical” — are a reaction to the tenement house.
