The concept of the Park Rublevo residential community is a combination of two formats: comfortable urban housing and country life in the elements. The complex is located in the woods on the banks of the Moskva River, and consists of twenty-two residential buildings and a kindergarten.

Arguably, the namesake park itself could be credited as the project architect: existing trees dictated the typology of the development, with towers in vacant spaces. At the design stage, we took note of all the oldest oaks and pines before moving the houses around on the master plan, aiming to preserve the maximum possible number of trees.

The initial overall concept rests on having two types of buildings: eight-story midrises visually dominate in the centre and on the slopes; surrounding four-story lowrises convey a more rural character. Terraces became an important element of all the buildings, enhancing the feeling of a country house.

The design concept for the surroundings was proposed by the West 8 office. It envisioned the development of the Moskva River embankment, the construction of a boat station, and the creation of sports and recreational areas.
